Really sturdy plastic and i like the design it just came to me a little scratched around edges and back side so i had to take some stars off. But it is a good case love the push to open. Fits 18.

The bottom line is, all of the flip-top plastic cases I've tried have been junk EXCEPT the ""Smoky" and "Top" brands also also available on site both of which are terrific, (Though I prefer the "Top" myself!)
