Flavor is about right for a menthol, not too harsh, not too light. Downside is there appears to be more stems in the bag than before. Hope they fix this. This is the worst tobacco I have ever had!!! It is too dry, powdery and is so full of stems and filler that it is worthless. I use the Good Stuff menthol tobacco exclusively. I've tried some of the other brand, but Good Stuff is the only one that has a smooth, clean taste. I love this tobacco. But the quality seems to have gone down some. Seems like more and more steams are in each bag. But it is the only kind I have found that I like. The taste is ok, but the quality of the tobacco itself is terrible! I've had 3 1 pound bags of gold and menthol each, and spend most of my rolling time picking out stems. A few stems are to be expected, but the handful that I picked out today out of only half of the bag is ridiculous, especially when they're half the length of a cigarette. I have been smoking this for quite some time now and I have not experienced anything negative enough to shave off a star. There IS an occasional (but rare) stem and there IS a little shake when approaching the bottom of the bag. I am sure they are trying to avoid the majority of both, because it shows. The last four bags of Good Stuff Red was too wet. Also lots of sticks and filler this time around.. I had to dry each bag out and sift through and pick out all the twigs or sticks before I can smoke it...I like the taste or Reds and it is smooth ..I will try them one more time but it the quality does not improve I will find another brand.. I like this product. The Natural is very good and has a good taste. I have tried every one of the products and have liked them. Its also a good value.
