Wood Pipes

There are many factors that make for a good wood for carving pipes.  Grain and hardness are the most important among them.   Paduak wood is a hardwood typically found in dense equatorial rainforests and the tight grain and hardness make it a great choice for any project.   What sets Paduak apart from other hardwoods is the bright orange to crimson color that it has.   The three-layer wood of these pipes makes the Paduak stand out even more making this a great pipe to showcase your collection.
