Great Machine!Review by Joe

Honestly, I hated this thing for the first two weeks or so. It jammed, binded up and felt really rough when cranked.
The more I used it the smoother and trouble free it got. I'm assuming it needed a few hundred cycles to break in because now it works great! It packs nice full, tight cigs! (Posted on 6/18/2017)

I've owned about 6 machines including an electric injector machine but this one is special. All you got to do is keep it clean and a little Vaseline to keep parts lubricated other than that by far one of the best I've owned. I've been doing this for at least 20 years now rolling my own cigarettes so i know what I'm talking about. I hope this review is helpful to all the new rollers out there. (Posted on 3/19/2017)

Sure Ain't A "Top-O-Matic"!Review by Z

I bought one of these when I needed to replace a "Top-O-Matic" I pretty much destroyed when my "cash flow" wasn't so great and I was trying to save a few bucks. It tubed relatively well until it didn't, after about 2 months when it died. Just didn't hold up.

It worked out though because during those 2 months I was back in the $ again and was able to easily buy another "Top-O-Matic", so it did buy me some time AND teach me a lesson! (Posted on 5/4/2016)

Premier Supermatic II has all of the mechanics of the original Big Blue but in a plastic housing. Force on the crank weakens the plastic and eventually cracks. Tightening screws when tuning it up strip the plastic also.

This machine was not a very good Idea on Premier's part. If you like the design and comport of it, just spend the extra $5 for the original Supermatic. If you want to go with a lighter machine then I suggest the Excel. It's also made by Premier. It is an excellent unit and $10 less than Supermatic II. (Posted on 4/19/2016)
Best machine out there!Review by Patrick

You cannot find a better machine or value than this one, especially from smokersoutletonline.com!! I've had mine for about 2 years and it still works fantastic!!! Plus because the bottom is open and the fact that its all manual, if there is ever a problem, its easily fixed by simply looking underneath and simple repair. Amazing heavy duty best hand machine and best value out there. If you're debating between two or more machines and this is one of them, its a no-brainer: the Premier Supermatic II is the best choice you can make. (Posted on 2/12/2016)

I"ve had this machine since 3/13 .I roll out about 600 cigs per month with no problems. Not bad for a second hand machine a friend gave it to me and told me she had no problems with it ,the whole time she had it.So that means the mach. been in use for about 5 yrs. constantly rolling out cigs, with no maint. or care.except cleaning.you can"t get anything to last that long without paying high dollar for it. thanks for a great machine. machine is great, don't use arbroReview by Randi

This machine has served me wonderfully for years. But, I don't recommend trying Arbro Inc. for parts. My machine needs a new cam badly. I ordered one from Arbro and was charged for it, but never received the part, nor any communication from the company aside from the order verification. I'm still waiting for the Better Business Bureau to get a hold of the company to try and get my part. So, go for the machine, but don't bother with Arbro. The company is a scam, and you'll wind up having to buy a new machine.

Excellent Manual MachineReview by Bernard

I've had this machine since 2009 & I love it. I purchased the Powermatic II for my girlfriend & we have had it since 2010 & both machines perform flawlessly. I don't understand those who say they have problems with them unless they abuse the machines? I highly recommend this for manual use & I highly recommend the Powermatic II if you're looking for a powered machine. (Posted on 10/21/2014)
Like most single crank machinesReview by Charles

I have bought two different brands of this type of machine and found all them to be lacking in performance and long term durability. This machine and the other brand seems to function fine until soon after the warranty period. The machine never could stuff fines at the end of the tobacco bag and require maintenance just to keep them nursed along the way. Do yourself a favor and pick up a simple cheap feeling EXP1000. The 1000 will stuff fines, require zero maintenance, and last for years. (Posted on 5/23/2014)
Not as solidly built as my old Top-O-MaticReview by Ed

Though the machine is not as solidly built as my very old
Top-O-Matic it does have some pluses. 1) It costs a lot less. 2) It is designed for Kings. 3) It has no rubber bottom that collects a ton of tobacco fines, I think the workings will stay cleaner.

At first tubes would not slide on easily, after about 15 stuffs this problem is improving. I will clean things up with some 600 grit sand paper and all will be fine. The knob on the handle is riveted on rather than bolted. I'll save my old Top-o-Matic and use the handle and knob from it if necessary. Every working part is made of metal so the machine should last quite well with a few drops of oil applied in the right places.

The machine rolls perfect King size cigarettes without tearing the end of the tube on release as my old machine did. Time will tell if the plastic machine will last as long as my old metal Top-O-Matic, with which I rolled many thousands of cigarettes.

Bottom line I like the machine. (Posted on 7/24/2013)
Looks nice...Review by J

The internal parts seem the same as the Tops version but the body of this one is all plastic and very flimsy. It will not pack a decent cig all the way to the filter. There seem to be parts dragging and scraping together which makes operation difficult when its empty, let alone nearly impossible when loaded.
Save the money and get the heavy-duty Tops machine. (Posted on 7/20/2013)
Pretty Much a WorkhorseReview by Sonny

I've used this machine for at least 5 years and it's running fine. When brand new, the angled brass tip where the tube slides on was a little balky -- sharp edged and large diameter for some tubes. Smooth it with a fine emery cloth or sandpaper and the tubes slide on like silk and hold tight when being filled.

Flip it over and lubricate all the turning and sliding surfaces once a year or so.

The crank return spring broke after several years, but it isn't necessary for the machine to work well, so I never replaced it. Any spring shop or good hardware store would have a replacement if you needed one. But you don't.

With high mileage, the Supermatic 2 works on like an old Chevy. (Posted on 1/13/2013)
Minimal Tech That Works WellReview by 88/Rx

I wasn't really too impressed when I took this machine out of the box, it was easy to see with just a little more thought and care they could have built a much more reliable injector with minimal added expense. But, I have to say, it did work well for me from the start! It will require surgery before it's 100% again, but I'm at fault for that. And, though it's listed as only good for "kings", I managed to pound out some pretty respectable "100s" with it as well from time to time, as needed. I do prefer the "Topomatic", but, if you're a couple dollars shy of being able to purchase it, and you take more care of this one than I did, it'll be a reliable machine that'll stuff well. I must have run 10 different brands of tubes through it, and never had a serious issue with any of them...No extra "bells and whistles" with this machine, "bare bones tech", BUT, it does work, and that's the important thing! Better Construction than mostReview by Daniel

The fact that you can flip this machine over and see and adjust all the moving parts is wonderful. No dismantling of the casing anymore, and it doesn't get full of "tobacco dust". The small rubber tipped metal brace that holds your tube on is absolutley awesome and I've never had this machine "kick off" a tube before it was stuffed properly. The machine loads from filter to tip... perfectly. The internal parts being all metal was the reason I bought this, and the reason I rate it well. I've had too many other machines with the plastic innards that broke within a couple of months. It is however, a little tougher to hold onto when cranking than other machines I've used... so I use it sideways. I was surprised when it arrived that the casing itself is actually metallic plastic, which is the only reason I docked this machine one star in quality. The casing should have been metal too. Been working perfectly for 5 months now... where most other crank machines I've used have broken in a month or two because the innards were plastic... and I always ended up going back to the "sliders". This cranker is a step in the right direction. (Posted on 9/23/2012)
